More and more couples dream of a unique and special wedding celebration as a supplement to the civil marriage. You may not want to get married in church, but still desire a meaningful ceremony to celebrate the decision you have made for each other, and as a testimony to your family and friends. WHAT WE OFFER

We lead the wedding as a married couple! We have been married for 40 years and have three children and six grandchildren. We both studied theology and family therapy in the United States. Upon request, we will be happy to plan your wedding ceremony with various Christian content. We enjoy accompanying couples on their marriage adventure and celebrating their special day with lots of love! We can conduct weddings in English and German.

PREPARATION

Experience has shown that planning can never start early enough! An orientation meeting usually takes place six months before the wedding. At this first meeting we get to know each other and clarify organizational issues.

This is also a good time to talk about wishes and expectations in the relationship. In addition, we offer the Prepare / Enrich relationship test for those who are interested.

Until the second meeting we ask you to think about your ideas for the wedding ceremony and in which direction the sermon or speech should go. You can either send us your proposal for the ceremony, or we would be happy to work with you to think about how the various elements can be combined into a harmonious whole.

On the day of the celebration, we will arrive an hour before the ceremony begins, so that we can make sure that everyone involved (witnesses, music, photographer, …) is clear about the process. When you arrive on site, everything is well prepared and the unforgettable celebration can begin.

COST

Our flat rate of € 900,- includes all preparations, the wedding day, texts required for the ceremony, such as the marriage vows and program, as well as the wedding certificate. Travel costs within 30 km are also included. For further distances beyond 30km, we charge an official kilometer rate.
